On this page
An AI chat on your website that answers visitors and takes booking requests, day and night.
- Guests got an answer at any hour, in their own language, instead of waiting for the office to open.
- Many guests did not type at all. They tapped buttons to see the trips, the lodges and the weather.
- Every booking went to a person on the team. The assistant prepares, people decide.
- Guests asked most about dates and open places. Showing those in the chat is the next step.
The operator
A heli-ski operator selling multi-day trips at the top of its market, run by a small office team. Guests come from all over the world, and most of them look at a trip for weeks before they get in touch.
What slowed them down
Guests look at trips at all hours, often when the office is closed. A question that waits until the next morning is often a booking made somewhere else.
During office hours, the team answered the same questions again and again: which trip suits my level, what is included, how do I prepare, is there space that week.
What we built
A chat assistant on the operator’s own website. A guest asks a question in plain words, and the assistant answers the way someone from the team would.
- It knows the business. Together with the operator we wrote down what it needs to know: the trips, the lodges, safety and how to prepare. The operator checked all of it before the assistant said a word.
- It shows the trips. When a guest asks to see the tours, a window with the trips opens inside the chat. The assistant knows which trip the guest is looking at and carries on the conversation from there.

- It speaks the guest’s language. English, German, French and Spanish came up, and it answered in each one.

- It hands over to a person. When a guest is ready to book, or asks for a person, the assistant passes the whole conversation to the team.

We tested it before guests did
Before it went live, we let AI play different kinds of guests: a nervous beginner, an expert, someone booking for a group, someone fishing for information about competitors. Each test showed us something to improve, and we improved it before the first real guest arrived.
The team keeps the decisions
The assistant prepares, and a person confirms every booking. When a question is beyond it, it says so and passes the guest to the team, together with what was already said, so nobody has to ask twice.
An assistant that cannot hand a guest to a person is a wall, and we do not build walls.
What comes next
Guests asked most about dates and open places. Today the assistant explains how booking works and passes the guest to the team. Showing open dates right inside the chat is the next step.
